A lot has been happening in Tibia lately. Less than three days after introducing the new starting island and revamping the early game experience (Newhaven replaced Dawnport, ending the “rooking” era), CipSoft has already released not one, but four major announcements for the upcoming Winter Update 2025.
What Will Winter Update 2025 Bring?
Players can expect:
- A new storyline related to the Order of the Deer
- New hunting grounds

But the real revolution lies in two features that the community has been requesting for over a decade.
Spell Transparency – Finally a Clear Screen!
More specifically, we’re talking about spell effect transparency to achieve a cleaner and more transparent game view.
Soon, in the Options → Graphics → Effects menu, a new spell effects menu will appear. You’ll be able to precisely adjust the transparency of:
- Your own spells
- Other players’ spells
- Monster spell effects
Each parameter can be set using convenient sliders ranging from 0% to 100%, giving you complete control over how much magic appears on your screen.
Why Is This So Important?
Because Tibia has evolved significantly! Dozens of new runes, spells, and abilities have been added, which during intense on-screen action (especially with dozens of players present) disrupt clarity and situational awareness. Just look at screenshots from mass battles… Total chaos.
Thanks to the new feature, players will be able to reduce the visibility of less important effects like Fire Bomb, which will definitely improve gameplay comfort.
Enhanced Targeting and MultiAction – A Real Game Changer
The fourth announcement brought more bombshell features. CipSoft – instead of focusing only on new content – emphasized features that streamline gameplay.
Enhanced Object Targeting
This feature improves interaction with objects and runes through the action bar. The new “Use at cursor position” option allows you to:
- Press a hotkey
- Assign an object directly to the target under your mouse cursor in the game window
- Reduce the number of required clicks from two to one
If the cursor is outside the game window, the action won’t be executed, and the player will receive a brief message.
MultiAction – Players’ Dreams Come True
To make spell rotation and item usage even smoother, you can now combine up to three actions into one button on the action bar.
How does it work?
- Right-click any action bar button
- Select “Assign MultiAction”
- Drag spells or objects into the three available slots
- When activated, the button automatically executes the first available action that isn’t on cooldown
Example uses:
- A Knight can create a rotation: Fierce Berserk → Berserk → Groundshaker, executing whichever is ready first
- Automatic spell rotation without key spamming
- Much more dynamic gameplay, especially for Knights
Tibia Automates Gameplay – A New Era of Comfort
Cool? Very cool! Judging by Tibian forums and posts, players are thrilled. Especially with the MultiAction feature, which is a kind of wish fulfillment for fans who have long pointed out the low dynamics of Knights.
MultiAction is essentially a small macro built into the game, which should reduce key spamming and dramatically improve the daily grind.
It’s nice that CipSoft listens to players – kudos to the developers!
Interestingly, Tibia is increasingly automating and simplifying many functions. This may not yet be a built-in Tibia bot in the client, but these are features that were once unthinkable.
